Through our educational ministry, we collaborate with the Diocese of Meru in promoting academic excellence while forming young people with strong Christian values, integrity, and a spirit of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our educational institutions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>a) St. Francis of Assisi Day and Boarding Primary &amp; Junior School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located in South Imenti, Meru County, St. Francis of Assisi Day and Boarding Primary &amp; Junior School is a diocesan school managed by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ (PHJC). The school serves 575 learners and is supported by 4 religious sisters, 22 teachers, and 14 support staff who work together to provide quality, learner-centered education in a safe, caring, and faith-filled environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The school offers both day and boarding education for boys and girls and is committed to fostering academic excellence, moral integrity, spiritual growth, and the holistic development of every learner. It has successfully embraced Kenya&#8217;s Competency-Based Education (CBE) system, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and quality education despite the increased costs associated with its implementation. The school offers day and boarding education from Playgroup to Form Four, serving both boys and girls in the early years and providing quality education that nurtures learners academically, spiritually, morally, and socially.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a caring and faith-filled environment, the school empowers young people to become confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders rooted in Christian values. It is committed to academic excellence while promoting discipline, leadership, creativity, and service to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our Educational Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both schools implement Kenya&#8217;s Competency-Based Education (CBE) as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. This learner-centered curriculum promotes the holistic development of every child by nurturing knowledge, skills, values, creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
